ARCHITECTURE
ARCHITECTURE
This multifunctional project is designed for a dynamic area of Tbilisi, where urban activity meets a steep natural landscape. The architecture responds by stepping down the terrain, creating a smooth transition between the built form and the hillside rather than resisting it.
The structure is composed of horizontally layered volumes with rounded edges, softening the geometry and enhancing the flow between levels. A modular structural grid allows flexibility in program, accommodating public, commercial, and leisure functions within a unified system.

CONCEPT
The concept of the project is inspired by the idea of gallery frames, where architecture itself becomes a system of display. The building is composed of a series of structural “frames” that define spaces, guide movement, and create visual connections between interior and exterior.
These frames shape the entire structure, forming modular volumes that can host exhibitions, public programs, and flexible gallery layouts.

FACADE DETAILS
The facade is defined by a system of clean, repetitive frames that express the project’s structural logic. These elements create depth and rhythm, acting both as support and as architectural articulation.
Subtle transitions between solid and transparent surfaces allow light to filter through. Large openings act like curated views, framing the surrounding landscape and bringing natural light deep into the spaces.

3D MODEL
The diagram showcases the building’s composition as a series of interconnected structural frames, By stepping these frames down the natural slope, the architecture creates a layered, terraced geometry where the roof of one module serves as an outdoor gallery or terrace for the next, ensuring a fluid transition between the built form and the landscape.
