ARCHITECTURE

This contemporary winery features a rhythmic series of earth-toned vaults that reinterpret traditional cellar forms for a hosting space. The architecture blends a textured, terracotta exterior with soaring glass facades, housing a multifunctional wine bar and tasting areas that offer seamless views of the vineyard. By grounding its modern silhouette in the colors of the terroir, the design creates a sophisticated, light-filled destination that celebrates both winemaking heritage and progressive hospitality.

CONCEPT

Rooted in an 8,000-year legacy, this project draws its architectural DNA from the Qvevri, the traditional Georgian clay pitcher used for subterranean winemaking. By echoing the functional thermal regulation of the ancient pitcher, the architecture creates a naturally tempered sanctuary for a wine bar and cellar, bridging the gap between tradition and modern environment through a monumental, earth-bound form.

FACADE DETAILS

The facade embodies the Qvevri through a textured, terracotta finish that captures the organic essence of ancient clay.

This axonometric 3D model reveals a rhythmic architectural composition that translates the 8,000-year legacy of the Georgian Qvevri into a monumental, modern winery. The model illustrates a multifunctional layout where the underground cellar tradition is elevated into a sophisticated hosting space.
